I totally agree John. I used the first evernote all the time. It is still running on my old desktop but since they "improved" it I can't stand it. I tried, I really tried to use it. Went through the hoops and read all the docs I could find. It's just not a good program anymore. I uninstalled and started looking again. Thanks for the Cloud rec. I'll check it out.
Another nice little program is iespell for spell check if your interested. Have used then paid the continued to use for years. great little prog.
Best regards.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm still using Windows and still using EverNote 2.0, all these many years later and not planning on the upgrade to 3.0 ... ever.

Agreed... I don't like the Evernote site/service at all. And google notebook was, by far, the most underused/under-appreciated service Google has possible ever offered. It's a shame to see it go.

Although, I do have to say back about three to four years ago when I was still using windows, Evernote (the desktop app) couldn't be beat. It was a very nice piece of software whose owners simply decided to take a wrong path, imho.

Thanks for the cloudnotes link, I'll definitely be watching.
